Facebook Connect Integration

We have recently integrated facebook connect with Qhub sites. This allows poeple to sign up and sign in to your hubs using their facebook account. It couldn’t be any easier, instead of using the normal sign up or sign in form all your members need to do is click the facebook connect button and sign in to facebook from this we can create an account for them so they can jump straight in and start interacting with you Qhub. We’re hoping this will speed up the sign up process and get more people interacting with your Qhubs.

API Coming Soon

We are working busily behind the scenes on our Application Programming Interface, or API for short.? This is a way for developers to create new and innovative ways of accessing a hub’s data within Qhub.com.? You will need to have some programming ability to know how to communicate with our API, and support will be strictly limited, but we are confident that all of the core features a hub provides will be easily accessible to programmers of all abilities.

Watch this space for updates, or to put yourself on the early-birds list please visit Qhub.com/api.

Handy hints for a successful Qhub

You have created your Qhub now – well done!

To help make it your Qhub a success, there are a few things that you can do:

  1. Post questions and answers to your Qhub that you know will be popular. This way, visitors already have something to view when they log in. You can add personal questions and answers about you and your hub too such as why you decided to create it.
  2. Connect your Qhub with your Twitter and Facebook accounts. You can do this when logged in as the owner, using the links to ‘settings’ and then ‘social networks’.

Have fun with your Qhub.
